Helping reporters plan live coverage that actually holds up on air.
livestrato.net started with a simple observation: most broadcast failures happen before the camera ever rolls. We teach the planning discipline that prevents them.
Founded by people who have run live broadcasts under pressure.
livestrato.net was founded by a group of Australian broadcast producers and field reporters who kept seeing the same preventable problems on air: poor location choices, tangled camera feeds and reporters left without technical support. We built a structured curriculum to fix each of those problems at the source.
Today, livestrato.net trains newsroom teams across every state, combining classroom sessions with hands-on field exercises so reporters leave ready for real live coverage, not just theory.

The principles behind every module.
Practical over theoretical
Every module is built around real field scenarios, not abstract broadcasting theory.
Safety comes first
We never compromise reporter or crew safety for the sake of a faster setup.
Built with newsrooms
Our curriculum is developed and reviewed alongside working Australian broadcast teams.
A team from real Australian newsrooms.
